14 days of V-Day fun : Day 6 (Handprint heart canvases)

14 days of V Day fun series

Hello! Welcome to day 6 of the series. :)

Today’s project is..
Handprint heart canvases!

Valentines Day handprint heart canvas
If you’d like to make them, here’s what you’ll need:
Valentines Day handprint heart canvas-9
-Thin canvas (I got a pack of 3 in the craft section at Walmart for a little over $3)
-Glue gun
-2 foam brushes
-Pink and red paint
-Wide ribbon
Also needed, but not pictured: Thin paint brush

First what you’ll need to do is tell your children that you are going to do a craft that involves them painting their hands. Watch how excited they get. :)

Next, paint one of their hands pink and the other red, and press down onto the canvas in a heart shape.

Using your thin paint brush, paint their name and the year at the bottom right hand corner.

Using your glue gun, put a dot on both ends of the ribbon, and glue to the back (in the center).
