A handmade gift for my girls..

So, I haven’t shared this on the blog yet, but I love to make cards. My daughters (especially Abby) like to sit down with me and make their own cards while I am making mine. A few months ago, while Abby and I were sitting together, making cards, she said “Momma, I like to make stuff with you!” ..It pretty much melted my heart. :) And a few days after that, she told me that she wanted her own “stuff” to make her cards. I instantly thought CHRISTMAS GIFT!

Cardstock that has been pre cut and scored (folded) into cards, stickers, stamps and ink, die cuts, pre cut scrapbook paper, and a roll of double sided tape (I switched out the Scotch cardboard with pink paper).

The girls were so excited to get this on Christmas morning! And I had so much fun making it for them. :)

    What a wonderful gift for little girls! My daughter is four and just now starting to like things like this. I can't wait until she has the patience to really craft with me!

    What a great gift. I also often make cards with my daughters, or they are working on their projects in my craft room with me, and I just love that time together.

    This is awesome! My oldest loves to card with me, and she gets all our surplus goodies. What a perfect way to surprise them!

    So cute, Katy! I'm sure the girls are loving it! When my children were small and I was designing crafts, they each had something published in a kids crafting column (I think in Crafts 'n' Things magazine). Maybe I should resurrect those columns and post them for all to see. :)

    This is great! My daughter received some stuff last year and has really put it to use. Yours, however, is in a super cute bin. Love the glitter clothespins and the pre-made die cuts!

    This is such a thoughtful ,loving thing for you to do. I'm sure you will all enjoy the time spent together . You look beautiful in your picture. So sweet even the tape is cute. Have fun!
